  • A Pillar of the Local Community

Rainham Cricket Club has been an established part of the Rainham community since 1896. The club prides itself on its social agenda as well as its competitive cricketing history.
The club has invested massively in its Youth sections and developed strong and sustainable links with local schools and community groups.

  • A Club on the Up and Up

Our hard work off the pitch is paying dividends on it. The First XI has been promoted in four of the last six seasons, while the Second XI have achieved an unprecedented SIX consecutive promotions. The Third XI has achieved back-to-back-to-back promotions and a Fourth XI is considering entry into the T-Rippon in the next year or two.
With an insatiable feel-good factor on and off the pitch, the sky is really the limit...

  • Inspiring the Next Generation

The club have recently acquired the prestigious Clubmark accreditation which ensures on- and off-field practices are of the highest standard as well as ensuring the club facilities and coaching create a safe and enjoyable environment for younger players.

  • Family Spirit Embodied Through Cricket

With excellent playing and social opportunities for the whole family, perhaps the most important quality of Rainham Cricket Club is its spirit and warm, friendly atmosphere.
The club is acknowledged by most others and members past and present as a unique place to be and you will find that once you join our club you have real friends for life.
    Come and see for yourself!

  • An Opportunity for Corporate Relationships

Cricket continues on a national level to invest heavily in grass roots development and Rainham Cricket Club provides an excellent platform for local companies and national organisations alike to maximise their potential media coverage and PR exposure.
Many organisations have already benefited from such an equitable relationship, showing excellent returns on their investment.

Rainham CC – 90s Night – Saturday 21st July 2018

Posted Fri, 06 Jul 2018 17:31 by peter.j.reynolds. Permalink

It’s time to make an effort and dress 90s style at Rainham CC’s next social night.

Scour those charity shops or look through Pete Reynolds wardrobe to find some 90s gear: The decade where ‘Brit Pop’ ‘Boy Bands’ and ‘Girl  Power’ were at their height, the ‘Macarena’ was the dance craze, ‘Marathons’ became ‘Snickers’, the England football team had one of their most successful decades ever, England were shocking at Cricket and Maggie Thatcher was finally ousted as Prime Minister.

If this is anything like as enjoyable as the 70s and 80s nights, then it will be a great night.

Bring along family and friends and dress up 90s style where a prize will be on offer to the best dressed.

Rainham CC – World Cup Karaoke and Kebab Night 16th June 2018

Posted Sun, 03 Jun 2018 16:38 by peter.j.reynolds. Permalink

Please bring along your family and friends for our World Cup Karaoke night down the club from 8pm on Saturday 16th June with Kebabs supplied by club sponsor Village Kebab House.

Village Kebab House, Rainham

Order you kebabs on the night which will be either Lamb doner or chicken shish wrap, as the social committee will take the order and arrange delivery to the clubhouse.

Also wear you club or country colours as a Karakoe sing off will take place.

Croatia v Nigeria is the big game on the TV, so a bar voucher for the best dressed who comes supporting either of these teams (Jono stands an excellent chance of winning as he turned up on the Indian night in classic Nigerian dress!) .

It sounds like bedlam and probably will be, so come along and enjoy a good night at Rainham Cricket Club

Rainham Cricket Club – Quiz Night 19th May 2018

Posted Wed, 02 May 2018 20:13 by peter.j.reynolds. Permalink

The vibrant Rainham CC social calendar kicks off this year with a Quiz night down the clubhouse from 8pm on Saturday 19th May.

Our genial host and Captain and indoor batting genius ‘Brearley’ will be the Quizmaster, so get your teams together to take on the general knowledge might of Rainham CC, or should it be lack of it?

The ladies put together a team last year and blew all comers out of the water, so I am sure they will be keen to retain the title of ‘Rainham CC Quiz Champions’.

Please bring along family and friends to visit the club as this is traditionally an enjoyable night.
