Inter-club 6-a-side: results!

The inaugral Rainham CC interclub 6-a-side tournament and Bumper Cup ping pong competition were both huge successes! The winners on the day were Reynold’s Rovers, consisting of captain Pete Reynolds, Dan Skipper, Ash Foster, Will Emsden, James Clark and Ronnie Jackson, who beat Ready’s Rangers (John Read, Jas Hothi, Jon O’Neill, Raj Hothi, Steve Jackson, Harry Light) in the final.
In the ping pong, Biren Patel showed that his co-ordination is better than his batting might suggest with an imperious performance, beating Rob Holton in the final. Jon O’Neill beat Paul Newman in the final of the loser’s plate.
All in all it was a great day and thanks is due to everyone who chipped in helping out on the day. Here’s to next year’s tournament where Pete will defend his title!
